Hi, I'm Sonia Agüera González.

I'm a PhD-trained cell biologist and immunologist who has worked in England and France. After several years in academic research on cancer, I decided to integrate my lifelong passion for science and drawing making picture books. I currently live in Cambridge (U.K.) where I work at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology as a scientist.

I'm excited about using picture books to introduce kids to science. Science is really cool, and so much of it starts with a basic childlike attitude of asking questions. I also want to help scientists convey their findings to the world because so often fascinating results get lost in the flood of data.

I hope to help others, one drawing at a time. My mission is to provide parents, carers and educators with books to learn about science, ecology, natural sciences, equality and well-being with children.
